Faded Paint and Color Deterioration of Alto Lapin in Hot Weather

The paint on my Alto Lapin has started to fade after a few years of use, especially due to the hot summer months in Pakistan. What are the main reasons behind this fading, and how can I prevent the paint from deteriorating further in extreme temperatures?

In Pakistan, the extreme heat and intense sun exposure can significantly affect a cars paint over time. The ultraviolet UV rays from the sun break down the pigments in the paint, causing it to fade. Additionally, the high temperatures can dry out the paint, leading to a dull and cracked surface.

Prevention and Solution:

Use Paint Protection Products: Apply wax o r a paint sealant to protect the paint from UV rays and oxidation. These products form a protective layer over the paint, reducing the effect of sun exposure.
Regular Washing and Drying: Regularly wash your car with a gentle car shampoo to remove dirt and debris. Always dry the car thoroughly to avoid water spots, which can further damage the paint.
Use a Car Cover: If the car is parked outside for long periods, consider using a car cover to protect it from the sun.
Window Tinting: Tinting your windows can help protect the interior and reduce sun exposure to the exterior.
