hi all..
i wana knw
1- Do the rpm of car decreases wen u turn the head lights on?
i got my cars generator replaced n electrician says tht it does put load on generator wen u turn headlights on..car is khyber.

2-do khyber has some vaccum with head lights which makes its rpm a bit more wen headlights r turned on.mechanic n electrician told me this but i dont think so..i think only AC hs vaccum so wen ac is turned on,its rpm increases..

how to knw the generator is working properly?i mean if i connect the meter electricians have,whr shud the needle be??

Brother, almost you know that Khyber is an old car, there is nothing to worry about RPM because the headlights are some what heavy so engine gets some little load on it but if your battery & generator are working fine then no problem for your car, & one another thing A/c of Khyber makes load on engine but that is normal for other 1000 cc cars so no need to worry about & you asked for generator checking so you don't do it just say the electrician to check it by their apparatus, because if you go home & it becomes faulty so he will blame you & if you will not do it then you can say your electrician that "What have you done"??? No problems brother have safe drive, Good luck...
