Gear oil level dropping fast

hey people.

two weeks ago i got my alto 2004 filled with 1 liter of gear oil and then yesterday i had it checked again and the level of oil was low again.
the mechanic filled half liter again and told me that the axle seal is leaking.

can any one tell me for how much i can get it replaced and wat qualities of seals are available in the market. or is it really the axle seal problem ir something else?

secondly i m felling increasing resistance in gear lever while shifting gears, is the transmission box becoming faulty???

the gear resistance is because of the decreased oil level
secondly I donot know much about altos plus you are also from lahore so dunno much about mechanics over there,
any how I think that once this issue of leaking is solved the resistance that you mentioned will come back to is normal
lets wait for the alto experts to come and share their opinion
