Hankook Dr Cell Battery Died all of a sudden Proble
Hankook Dr Cell Battery Died all of a sudden Proble
Problems never came alone. Today in the afetrnoon as I stopped my car at a place and then after talking to someone as I started my car once again, the car suddenly died and battery light went off. Tried ignition switch once again. Nothing no lights.... I opened the bonnet, opened the battery terminals, cleaned them and tightened them. I have 1990 Suzuki Alto running on BRC CNG kit
Again as I tried to start the car, the battery and engine oil lights came on, but as I further turned the ignition switch, it died again with no lights. After that it is happening like this, lights come on and as I try to start, lights everything goes off.
I started it by getting help pushing in 2nd gear and as evening was drawing near, quickly went to an Electrician, who tried to check the battery and said that the battery id dead. This one is a Dry Cell Hankook battery and just had barely 2 years. It was not giving any problem at all before it suddenly died. The electrician told me that the car generator is fine, and has asked me to replace the battry. He then started the car with help of a spare battery and it started on a single ignition turn
Apart from this as I was driving, some sort of cut-out near the main switchboard beneath the right side of steering wheel was rapidly giving tuk tuk sound, just exactly like the sound when an side indicator blips, though this was random and fast. At same time, turning indicators lever gave fast indicators lights off and on, I mean quite fast as compared to the normal
Definitely I am going to replace the battery, but can someone tell me that do dry cell batteries die all of a suddent without giving any prioe problems like morning start problems. Moreover what is this strange tuk tuk voice coming from the switch board and what could it mean
Any help would be greatly appreciated

No,it is not necessary,if battery died suddenly means that there must be a short circuit in the wiring or any relay got defective. Some time this problem happens due to loose battery terminals or terminals got corraded.
