Having problem with LANCER 1.6 GLX A/T CNG
Hi,
Need some help as its my first time with CNG driving in my new Lancer. On petrol it runs great - on CNG there's not much of a difference besides the pickup - which I would say is just 10-15% slower (which is ok - considering the cost cut)
My car is just one day old as of today with about 80-90kms on the dial.. Mostly I have been driving it on petrol, however today I tried to switch it over to CNG - the experience was good as I mentioned above. The problem that I faced was that the power just started dieing whenever I stopped in idle mode - must mention that this only happend a few times ?
Need some expert suggestions on what setting if needed need to be done? or is this some serious problem ? Also need a suggestion on the fuel - should I use just Hi-Octane or Mixed or just Super ? Lastly, is it ok if I start driving it on CNG before the 1000kms are completed ?
Would be greatful to useful feedbacks ?
Thanks!

Its not a big worrie, I myself have the same car. During the first 1000 KM, it happened a bit but once u start driving it on CNG regularly, the problem shud go away. Just happens in the initial period.
I started driving mine on cNG after 300KM and its ran for almost 5100 KM now and no problem whatsoever. Its giving me around 110-120 without AC in the city but with AC its around 90-100. Do let me know of your average later on.
So, no problem at all with what you are facing. Need any other help, do get back to me.
