Help Required, Problem in my new Lancer 1.6

Acha so here is the story, we are coming from Islamabad nothing wrong with the car and i was not pushing the car or anything. As I took a car and downshifted, then the car wouldn't rev up over 3K, so put my car into neutral and pushed the accelerator and still the car wouldn't rev over 3k. So my driver said lets go home in under 3K revs and then we will fix the car.

Acha as we were going about 400meters later the car just stalled. The car wouldn't start again either by pushing, checked all of the spark plugs and everything still the car wouldn't start up.

Then we called the Showroom, they said to check the fuel mixture that there maybe some "****" in the fuel supply. We didn�t drain the fuel tank; we just added another 10 liters of petrol in it. Still the car wouldn�t start.

Hopefully the car will be fixed by the showroom guys by tomorrow, but can anyone tell me what the problem may be?? And should I ask for another car if the car is in the workshop for a couple of days?? As in a replacement??

ok..now i get it...that was what i meant.

there can be a number of reasons for this....one of which can be the fuel supply. my guess is that it may have been leaking or clogged....starting from the pump, lines, filter, rail, injectors etc.

it may very well be your mass airflow sensor and / or your crank sensor...i would guess for the mass airflow sensor...these sometimes get corrosion in the connector or just produce a weak signal when hot (usually allows the engine to restart after cooling down)

take it to the dealer...he will attach a code reader into your ECU...and will confirm the code the car is throwing...then he will look it up into the car's workshop manual to see the exact problem.
