Help required regarding POWER STEERING

hi i have corolla xli i have problem while driving after some time power steering become hard can any body tell me whats the problem is life of poweer steering oil over and have to change complete ps oil or what ?

Please describe the problem in mnore detail.

Does it work fine when cold? Does it work fine and then becomes difficult after how long? Does the problem come and go?

How many miles on the car and what year is it? Do you have oversize tires and wheels on it?

Have you checked the system for low fluid and/or any leaks? Does the reservoir show frothy fluid or bubbles? Is the fluid very dark or black?
