Help,subwoofer related,plz,plz

yesterday i got
my subwoofer sytem for my car.
a 800-1000 watt 12 inch pioneer, a L shaped box.
with a ROCKER 500watt 2 channel amp.
i bridged the channels in to one.
BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT I GET
VERY POOR BASS QUALITY.
is there problem in the amp or the box.
i think the box is improper
is there need of more wattage.
i get A LOUD pHud pHhud with music like palyed on tractors in our villagess only no bass BOOOOOM.out side of the car,the speakers membranes vibrates .WHAT IS THE PROBLEM.
PLZ HELP HELP.should i change the enclosre get some sealed or with holes.

Problem With Amp
It Is LOcal Made

Buy A Amp Minimum 1000watts as Oriinally it will be Around 200watts--as no original amps in pakistan if available will cost around rs.20000/-

I will recommend Buy Woofer Boschman 500 watts(Cost around Rs.2200/---the new one having BM written in high letters as on tyres--black in between and speaker paper grey

Amplifier Audiobank 1000 watts 2 channel(Cost Around 3500/-)

Speakers boschmann (xlr model 9 series) 400 watts(rs.2200/-)--These speakers are excellent as tweeter sound does not deteriorate + no squeak sound on high sound level whereas kenwood hq718 has excellent bass but no tweeter performance

You first of all change your amp,then the woofer
i know because i lost rs.6000/- in finding out these facts
