Honda 1999 Auto, Assembly Swap
Honda 1999 Auto, Assembly Swap
Hey Guys,
I need some guidance as I’m planning to do an assembly swap because the older assembly of the car is dead. I have been meaning to update it but now it is dead so Now I have to update it.
Here are the specs of my Car
1. Honda Civic Automatic VTI 1999 Model
2. P2M- N92
3. D16Y6 Dual V-Tec engine as of now
If anyone has any idea which engine is compatible with my car’s ECU please let me know it would be a huge help.
Also if anyone knows the location from I can get it do mention it. Because I really need it.

First of All, D16Y8 is a single VTEC Motor, As you mentioned the word Dual, could be D15B Head.
If you are trying to swap o r rebuild just remember these things.
Both Processes cost almost the same but in the Swap, you dont know what you are putting, What condition is it in.
But in a rebuild, you will know its condition.
Now coming to the cost of this they will likely cost you around 70,000 to 80,000 PKR
