Honda accord 1987 revving problem

Honda accord 1987 revving problem

my honda accord 1987 model (cng) is revving max at 4000 revolutions per minute and its rpm range is till 8000rpm and gets red at 6500rpm. please help me. it should reach 6500 but gets stuck at 4000

What does it do when reaches 4K rpm does it jerk or jahtka or anything pls explain it is helpful in solving problems.
