Honda Accord 1988 Model Consumption Expenses

Dear All,

Please let me know, average monthly maintenance cost of Honda Accord 1988 model in normal usage and conditions if go nothing wrong, I m new to vehicles and interested in buying this model. also please give me range, in what range this car can be purchased with normal condition.

350k to 400k for a nice 3g accord in karachi with 150k 200k km, oil change at 6 months or 10,000 km, clean the air filter, clean spark plugs, maintain ignition timings, check valve clearance (tappets), check radiator, fan and coolant and it will go with you 400k kms easily.

Before buying a 1988 accord check;

1 Engine (for rings, piston and seals)

2 Suspensions

3 A/C

4 Body (paint, rust, dents)

5 check all power functions (steering, sunroof, windows, locks)

6 clutch and gearbox.

This car is still more reliable then brand new suzukis even after 20 years, and will be after 10 more years provided kept properly.
