Honda civic 1995 Blow-By Issue/Engine Swap?

Honda civic 1995 Blow-By Issue/Engine Swap?

I own a Honda Civic 95 and wanted to Swap the engine, I actually got this car from my elder brother as a gift. I’m not into Old cars but thought I should give it a try and give this old baby life. The car has around 400,000 KMS and it is giving Blow-by that is why I thought I should just swap the engine. It is a water-throwing engine and gives a heavy blow from the valve cover and when opening the oil cap. Its oil is being blown out.

So I made an oil-catching can at home and it is helping a little bit, But I want a permanent solution.

• There is no oil in the Plugs

• No Smoke from tall Pipe.

I went to two mechanics and they both suggested that the piston/rings wear and tear issue is there. So I need to replace
the engine with the new one

That is why I wanted to swap the engine. But I think there might be something that can be done without having to swap the whole engine as we all know this car is not easy to come by and finding its engine in a good condition will be a challenge in Pakistan. I don’t want to waste my time looking for something that is not there.

I would suggest you get your car diagnosed because changing the engine would definitely empty your pocket.
If the issue can be resolved without the swap then why shouldnt you at least give it a try?

You can do these yourselves too

1. Check if the PCB valve is blocked

If it is blocked then just replace it and your issue will be solved without swapping it.
