Honda Civic 1996 EPS ??

Dear Members!

So, heres the deal: The power steering pump in my Honda Civic 1996 got jammed, and as a result, the belt broke off. Right now, Im driving the car without it. I have a couple of questions, and I was hoping you could help me out.

First off, is it alright to keep driving without the power steering pump? I plan on getting it fixed after Eid, but in the meantime, I want to make sure its safe to drive without it.

Secondly, Im thinking of installing an Electric Power Steering EPS system instead of the hydraulic pump. Do you think its possible to install EPS on this particular model with the D15B engine and Manual transmission? Im really interested in going for the EPS option if its feasible.

Lastly, if EPS is indeed a viable option, could you recommend any shops in Rawalpindi/Islamabad where I can get this work done at a reasonable price? Id really appreciate any suggestions o r recommendations you might have.
