Honda Civic 2012 Battery Problem
Honda Civic 2012 Battery Problem
Hey everyone, I hope youre all doing well.
Ive been having some trouble with my 2012 Civic 9th generation rebirth model. Every morning, when I try to start the car, it wont turn on, and I suspect that its draining the battery overnight.
I visited a battery shop to get the battery checked, and they suggested that I disconnect the battery wire before parking it for the night and then reconnect it in the morning to see if that helps. I followed their advice, and the car started up just fine without any battery drainage after reconnecting the terminal.
So, it seems like the battery itself is not the issue. Im wondering if there could be other possible causes for this problem and how I can go about fixing it. Its worth mentioning that a few days ago, my AC suddenly stopped working, and I had to replace an AC relay/fuse. Im thinking this might be related to the issue.
I live in Peshawar, so if anyone can recommend a good mechanic o r electrician who can help with this problem, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Hey!
Its possible that the AC relay you installed might be causing a short circuit, which could be turning on your compressor clutch at night and draining the battery. You might want to consider changing the relay to see if that solves the problem.
