Honda Civic 2013 Poor Mileage Help Me

Honda Civic 2013 Poor Mileage Help Me

My car primarily serves as a grocery car, enduring rough conditions with numerous breakers, holes, and broken roads during the short 4-5 km drive to the store. In this situation, my car only manages to provide a mileage of 6.5 km/l.

On longer drives along the main roads in the city, the maximum average mileage I have achieved is 8 km/l. However, this average includes 90% of the driving still being on the challenging grocery route with frequent stops. Im uncertain whether driving the car mainly on main city roads for at least half the fuel tank capacity would significantly improve the mileage o r if it would make any difference at all.

I have already taken several measures to address the issue. The fluids have been changed using genuine OEM Honda oils, the plugs have been serviced, computerized tuning has been performed idle RPM is optimal, and the catalytic converter has been serviced.

Despite these efforts, it seems that most people easily achieve a mileage of 10-11 km/l with this car.

What else should I have checked?

Thank you for any tips o r guidance.

Man, with those road conditions and all those short trips youre making, youre never gonna get good mileage, Im telling ya! You need one of those small city cars like the Alto 660cc, theyre made for exactly this kind of stuff. Your current car just aint cut out for these short trips and grocery runs, my friend.
