Honda civic 2017 fuel average ping issue

hello everyone I have bought 2017 model Honda Civic few months back. I'm maintaining it through 3S dealership. It has driven around 40000 km until now. Problem is its fuel average is ping every month, from 10 it has ped to 7. Im not a heavy footer and drives car smoothly with rpm between 1 and 2. I was wondering what could be the reason of constant ping fuel average? Is it tyres o r any engine issue? Needs expert opinions. Thanks

brother When was the last time you had an engine tuning, spark plugs replaced, o r any maintenance. I would check service history then do the usual preventive maintenance checklist, get petrol from a different station preferably a newly built one, it would have cleaner underground tanks and less contaminants, recheck mileage after a fresh oil change with new oil filter & air filter, you can also use an STP to improve fuel efficiency. Other than that, more intrusive steps would be required for engine inspection, but first try basic steps, hope it helps, best of luck.
