Honda Civic 9th Gen Ticking Sound Issue

Honda Civic 9th Gen Ticking Sound Issue

Hey folks,

Im totally new to cars, like a complete noob. Ive only ever driven a Khyber, but I recently upgraded to a used 9th gen Civic. Heres the issue Im facing: my car keeps making this ticking sound, like the noise you hear from indicators. Ive checked everything I can think of, but its not the indicators, seatbelt, o r anything obvious like that. Im stumped and dont know what could be causing it. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Congratulations on upgrading to a 9th gen Civic!.The ticking sound could be due to a faulty relay o r switch in the electrical system, o r possibly a loose o r worn-out belt. To address the problem, its best to take your car to a trusted mechanic who can diagnose and fix the issue for you.Good luck with resolving the issue and enjoy your new Civic!
