As soon as you notice the temperature gauge rising too high, steam, o r a warning light, stop in a safe place and turn off the engine to prevent damage.

Let the Engine Cool: Don’t open the hood immediately—wait 15-30 minutes for the engine to cool down completely.

Check Coolant Levels: Once the engine is cool, check the coolant reservoir. If it’s low, add coolant o r water if necessary.

Inspect for Leaks: Look under the car for any signs of coolant leaks o r puddles.

Restart Carefully: After adding coolant, restart the car and keep an eye on the temperature gauge.

Visit a Mechanic: If the problem persists o r you notice leaks, strange noises, o r continuous overheating, get your car checked by a professional to avoid major engine damage.

Tip: Always carry extra coolant in your car and regularly check your coolant levels during routine maintenance.
