Honda civic power steering

Honda civic power steering

i drove civic exi 98 after few months and found out power steering feel is too loose.. like your driving on ice,,especially when car gets faster. it has 185/65/14 tires,, i need comments on what if 205 tire size make civic steering harder or it remains as of a luxury car? already huge steering dia of 15" makes my arms go everywhere while turning the car

it seems to me i may have to rebuilt a civic according to my specs.

it is likely lack of pressure in the power steering rack. when you turn a power assisted steering wheel, high pressure fluid from the power steering pump enters the steering rack. if there is a leak, you will loose that pressure and the wheel will turn very softly or loosely.

i am guessing this. can you check to see if there is a leak under the car. generally where you park.

thanks
