Honda Civic Timing Belt

Honda Civic Timing Belt

guys,

Got a 98 civic (exi), been told it needs to have the timing belt replaced? How much would it set me back?

& what if I dont get it replaced, and check out how much more it can give me? If the timing belt actually breaks, how much would it cost me? I'm pretty sure I would have to give an arm & a leg at a Honda Dealership but they do good work?

Any/ or all price estimates would be extremely helpful. Bw, im in islamabad.

Thanx

when the timing belt snaps...you just dont replace the timing belt..lol...cuz this can damage the engine also.

bent valves is a very common occurance plus there can other damage also.

i recommend do it in the case of your car....and while ur getitng ur timing belt change...change your water pump also. also..buy OEM from honda only...cuz when it comes to engine...dont take any chances.

its once in a long time expense but worth the money.
