Honda Civic X Fuel Lid Stuck

Salam Gari members,
I’m facing a huge problem it kind of sounds small but I can’t seem to fix it. The problem is that the fuel lid of my car is stuck.

I literally tried everything I can’t seem to open it. I want to refuel my car.
Here is what I have tried:

1. Locked and Unlocked the Car Didn’t work

2. Can’t use too much force Might Break it

Please help me.

It happens mostly you can, In fact, there is a dedicated page in the manual regarding this issue. It happened to me a way back.
There will be a latch towards the upper left side of the trunk, Pull it and It will definitely release the fuel lid.
If it does not help there might be some other problems. Most of the time it is a Mechanical problem.
1. Stuck Mechanism

You can fix the mechanism problem first of all identifying if it is the problem o r not.
Press if it does not move then probably Spring is faulty. You will have to take it to the mechanic and He will fix it. Easy fix to be honest
