Honda Rebon Issues with the Ignition Coils

Honda Rebon Issues with the Ignition Coils

Hey everyone,
Ive been facing issues with the ignition coils of my car Reborn. One of the coils melted from its plug side, and the others were also leaking current, so I decided to replace all of them. I got some used ignition coils Kabli from the Japanese head assembly in Bilal Gunj, Lahore. But, when my mechanic tested them, they were also leaking from the sides and bottom, just above the rubber boot. Its really confusing because my car vibrates in D mode, especially with the AC on, and it starts to miss and take on a heavier load.

My mechanic recommended buying new China-made coils, which he said wouldnt leak, and also getting new plugs although the current ones are still okay, Ill change them too.

I could use some help finding good coils in Bilal Gunj, especially if you have experience buying them, o r should I just go for the new China-made ignition coils?

Hi Friend!

Avoid purchasing kabli ignition parts as they possess a limited service life, after which they are often exported to countries like ours as scrap. Instead, opt for brand new coils and plugs to ensure optimal performance and longevity. At my last examination, Honda 2S was offering OEM brand new coils for 26,000 rupees, while kabli sets were priced at 12-15,000 rupees, which is an imprudent expenditure of funds. Invest in the new components to guarantee the reliability and efficiency of your vehicles ignition system.
