How bad are general tyres?

Guys, I just got my City Vario delivered and the stock tyres don't seem to be that bad. Nontheless, the shop guy is hardly offering me Rs5,000 for all 5 tyres. Should I get them changed or just stick to what I have. Cheers,

See, the problem with getting your tires replaced at "Dodgy Brothers" tire shop is that USUALLY the tires are past their shelf life.

As far as generals go, they're not a bad at all. OE suppliers for almost all the manufacturers except Mitsus i think. Strenghtened sidewalls which they claim is optimised for the Pakistani road conditions. You get warranty plus you retain your OE car warranty.

I know they look rather flimsy on the vehicles but if thats the only reason, i suggest stick with them and if you DO decide to upgrade.. Do it sensibly.
