How Can I control GAS Consumption

I have 82 corolla.its average consumption were 2Rs/KM local but for few days Its consumption is very high above 3Rs/KM
I have set its gas volve and engine tapet but IT is still consuming gas too much.any one tell me how can i solve this problem

Well, the first thing to do is to get your car tuned up, which you have already done. But I suggest you get it done by a CNG Expert. (Even some time the CNG tuning done by the authorized dealers is not upto the mark)

Secondly, when ever you start your car, give its engine some time to warm up.

Thirdly, while driving try to keep your car in low revs. Low revs does not mean you shift the gears very quickly.

Forthly, its a good practice but rearly practiced by most of CNG car owners. Try to turn you car off on Petrol rather on CNG, especially in winters.

Lastly but most Importantly: Try to listen what your car is trying to tell you! While pickup, driving, shifting, in every aspect of driving.
