How can i increase the fuel consumtion in XLI?????

just tell me that how can i increase the fuel consumtion in XLI..u know that XLI is very poor in speed and pick up also..so tell me the way...

you need to increase fuel economy and decrease fuel consumption. Do not drive in lower gear, I mean 1st or 2nd.
chk your air cleaning element.
To boost pick up when did you change spark plugs? Also chk manifold intake.
Also chk if your fuel filter is dirty.
In a electronic fuel injection cars electronic module controls fuel injection. Also don't forget to check oxygen sensor which is normally located under exahust manifold.
How much is % on city and highway. Normally city driving has lower fuel economy. good luck
