How Can I Prevent Streaks on My Suzuki Cultus Windshield During Rain?

I’ve noticed that during heavy rain, my Suzuki Cultus windshield becomes streaky, even when I use the wipers. The streaks make it hard to see clearly. Is this a common issue, and how can I prevent it? Could it be related to the condition of the wipers o r the windshield?

Streaks during rain can occur for several reasons:

Wiper Blade Condition: Worn-out o r damaged wiper blades may leave streaks because they don’t make proper contact with the windshield. If the rubber on the blades is cracked o r hard, it will not clean the glass effectively.
Contaminants on the Windshield: Dirt, bird pings, tree sap, and other contaminants on the windshield can cause the wipers to leave streaks. These contaminants can also make your wipers work less efficiently, leading to streaking.
Old o r Inadequate Wiper Fluid: Using low-quality o r old windshield washer fluid can cause streaking. Some fluids are not effective in cutting through road grime and leave residue.
Solution:

Replace Wiper Blades: If your wipers are streaking, it may be time to replace them. Wiper blades should be changed every 6–12 months.
Clean the Windshield Regularly: Regularly wash your windshield to remove built-up grime and contaminants.
Use High-Quality Wiper Fluid: Ensure you’re using a high-quality windshield washer fluid, and check that the fluid level is sufficient. Consider using a fluid with cleaning agents that break down road grime.
Check Wiper Arm Alignment: Make sure the wiper arms are aligned properly to ensure full coverage and proper contact with the windshield.
