How can I tell if my Alto Lapin’s radiator is causing the engine to overheat?

The radiator plays a critical role in cooling the engine by transferring heat from the coolant to the air. If the radiator is damaged, clogged, o r leaking, it can lead to overheating.

Signs of a Radiator Issue:

Visible coolant leaks: If you notice coolant pooling under the car o r around the radiator area, it could indicate a leak.
Clogged o r damaged fins: The radiator’s cooling fins may become clogged with dirt, debris, o r corrosion, reducing its efficiency.
Engine overheating: If the temperature gauge shows high readings and the coolant level is fine, the radiator may not be functioning properly.
Steam o r boiling coolant: If you see steam coming from under the hood o r hear coolant boiling, the radiator may not be dissipating heat effectively.
Solution:

Inspect the radiator: Check for visible leaks, cracks, o r corrosion. If the radiator is clogged, have it flushed o r replaced.
Clean the radiator: Ensure that the radiator fins are clean and unobstructed. In dusty environments like Pakistan, frequent cleaning is recommended.
Check for proper coolant flow: Have the radiator cap and hoses checked for signs of wear o r damage, as they could affect coolant circulation.
