How can Prius owners in Pakistan test their charging system for faults?

Since the Prius does not have a traditional alternator, what diagnostic tools and tests such as checking inverter voltage, scanning OBD-II codes, o r testing the DC-DC converter can help identify charging system issues?

To test the charging system for faults in a Prius, you can follow these steps:

Check the inverter voltage: Use a multimeter to check if the hybrid system is generating proper voltage to charge both the hybrid and 12V batteries.
Scan for OBD-II error codes: Use a scanning tool to check for hybrid system-related fault codes that could point to inverter o r DC-DC converter issues.
Test the 12V battery voltage: A healthy 12V battery should read around 12.6V when the car is off, and around 13.5V–14.5V when the car is running if the DC-DC converter is functioning properly.
Perform a battery load test: If the 12V battery is failing to hold charge, a load test will confirm this.
