🔓 Catalytic converters are a common theft target due to the precious metals inside platinum, palladium, and rhodium.

🛡️ Anti-Theft Measures:
✔️ Install a Catalytic Converter Shield – Metal plate covering the CAT e.g., CatClamp.
✔️ Weld the Converter to the Exhaust System – Makes removal harder.
✔️ Etch Your VIN on the Converter – Easier to trace if stolen.
✔️ Park in a Secure Area – Avoid parking in dark o r open areas.

📌 Tip: Older Hilux models 2005-2015 are more at risk since their CATs are easier to access.
