How do I know if my Alto Lapin’s fuel filter is clogged?
I’ve been experiencing issues with my Alto Lapin’s engine stalling o r hesitating during acceleration. Could a clogged fuel filter be the cause? What signs should I look for to identify a clogged fuel filter, and how do I prevent this issue in Pakistan’s conditions?

A clogged fuel filter can affect the performance of your Alto Lapin by restricting the flow of fuel to the engine, causing it to stall, hesitate, o r run roughly, especially during acceleration. Over time, dirt and contaminants in the fuel tank can clog the filter, making it difficult for the engine to receive a consistent fuel supply.
Signs of a Clogged Fuel Filter:
Engine hesitation o r stalling: If your car stutters o r hesitates during acceleration o r when idling, a clogged fuel filter could be the issue.
Poor engine performance: If the engine feels sluggish o r has difficulty starting, the fuel filter may not be allowing enough fuel to reach the engine.
Increased fuel consumption: A clogged fuel filter can cause inefficient fuel combustion, leading to higher fuel consumption.
Solution:
Replace the fuel filter every 40,000 to 60,000 kilometers or as recommended by the manufacturer. In areas like Pakistan, where fuel quality may vary, it’s essential to change the filter more frequently.
Use clean, high-quality fuel to reduce the risk of clogging the filter.
