The A/C compressor is the heart of the cooling system, and failure can lead to weak o r no cooling. Signs of a failing compressor include:

Warm Air Instead of Cold Air – Weak cooling despite the A/C being on.
Loud Noises from the Engine Bay – Grinding, squealing, o r rattling noises from the compressor.
Compressor Clutch Not Engaging – If the clutch doesnt engage, the compressor isn’t working properly.
Refrigerant Leaks – If oil o r refrigerant is leaking around the compressor, it may need replacement.
Intermittent Cooling – The A/C works sometimes but fails randomly.

Diagnosis Steps:

Turn on the A/C and check if the compressor clutch engages.
Listen for unusual noises from the compressor.
Inspect for leaks around the compressor.
Check refrigerant levels – If the system is low on refrigerant, the compressor may not function properly.

If your compressor is weak o r not working, replacement may be necessary.
