A clogged air filter can significantly affect the engine performance of the Suzuki Cultus, especially in dusty o r polluted areas common in Pakistan.

Reduced Airflow: The air filter is responsible for supplying clean air to the engine. When it becomes clogged with dirt and debris, it restricts the airflow, causing the engine to receive less oxygen. This results in poor fuel combustion.
Decreased Fuel Efficiency: With less air reaching the engine, the vehicle compensates by burning more fuel to maintain power, leading to reduced fuel efficiency.
Engine Hesitation and Misfires: A clogged air filter can cause engine hesitation, rough idling, and misfires because the engine is not getting the proper air-fuel mixture.
Increased Exhaust Emissions: In some cases, the engine may produce more exhaust emissions due to incomplete combustion.
Solution: To avoid these issues, the air filter should be replaced regularly, especially in areas with high dust levels. Its a relatively inexpensive maintenance task, typically costing between PKR 2,000 to 3,000.
