How does Pakistan’s stop-and-go traffic contribute to faster brake pad wear in the Prius?

How does Pakistan’s stop-and-go traffic contribute to faster brake pad wear in the Prius?

Cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad have heavy traffic with frequent braking.
Does excessive brake usage in traffic jams accelerate brake pad wear, even with regenerative braking?
What are the best driving techniques to extend the lifespan of Prius brake pads?

In cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, frequent braking in stop-and-go traffic accelerates brake pad wear:

Excessive braking: Even with regenerative braking, frequent hard braking in traffic can wear out pads faster.
Regenerative braking: While this helps to save the pads, it doesn’t eliminate the need for physical braking, especially in stop-start conditions.

Driving techniques: To extend brake pad life, try to coast as much as possible in traffic and avoid sudden braking. Use regenerative braking whenever possible by lifting your foot off the accelerator.
