How often to use compound polish

Hi How often should we use get our car compound polished. ?????

and how can one identify that car needs compound polish if its of white color and small scratches are not visible.

Don't compound it too often as it removes small layer of paint.

Polish........... You may use once a month, i guess.

When the seems to become rougher, you may polish. The surface will become smooth after that.
