Hyundai i10 Clutch Problem

Hyundai i10 Clutch Problem

AoA,

I have a 2015 Hyundai i10 UK import. My clutch was hard, so I took it to the workshop for a replacement. They couldn’t find a new clutch cable, so they just serviced it with WD-40 and put it back.

Now, the drive isn’t smooth at all. The car vibrates in first and second gear when accelerating, even though it was running perfectly before the workshop visit.

Do you think they messed up the clutch assembly? Also, can you recommend a good clutch specialist in Lahore o r Faisalabad?

Thanks!

It sounds like the clutch cable adjustment might be off since it’s a manual fix. WD-40 can be a quick fix but isn’t a long-term solution, and sometimes cables get jammed badly.

If the cable itself is the problem and you can’t find a replacement, there are specialists who can replicate it. I can give you their contact info if you can bring the original cable to them.

Also, Plz workshops on Samsani Road, Johar Town, is great for all auto issues.
