Ice on CNG Kit/Regulator... hard starting

Salam All,

Islamabad is cold these days... everything freezes in the morning...

today.. my daewoo was running fine.. but i noticed eratic idle.. ignored as usual

then at a signal it failed to maintain idle.. and boom off

tried starting again... par no use.

had a look at engine... the whole cng kit was iced !!!!!

it started after a wait of 2-3 min.. and some how i managed to get to office.

the kit has hot water supply... the water level was ok... what could make the kit freeze like this????

how can such freezing be prevented?

Well I think there must be some blockage in the water supply to the KIT also check if your car have a thermostat and its working fine.

My other car Subaru had same problem and one of the pipe to the kit was blocked it will work fine in the day but in the morning or in the night it will freeze like this.
