Is the ACCORD in Pakistan actually ACURA??

Hi guys, ive heard that the very beautiful accord a modified version of Acura? which we used to see on the roads here, before the formal launch by Honda (the so called american model which most ppl havent liked). I heard that the company told its DIRECTORS worldover to keep an accord instead of acura, to which they resisted, and then the company modified the acura and labelled it an accord.. any comments??

The sporty looking Accord Euro which you see on the roads and called the CL-7/CL-9 is actually the Accord marketed in Japan & Europe. For the rest of the world the new Accord is the model which Honda is introducing now in Pakistan. The Accord Euro is re-badged as the Acura and sold only in the USA as an Acura nowhere else. And yes people like the Accord Euro more than the noraml Accord.
