Jerks on cng when engine is cold ?

Jerks on cng when engine is cold ?

hey fellas ,
i would like to ask our experts here what might be the reason i felt jerks on cng when engine is cold after few kms it runs smooth as sulk , i went to cng mechanic and he said the gas needs to open more but the last tunning i had done the mechanic told me its just perfect , car runs fine on petrol , it runs fine on cng aswell giving good milleage but the only problem is in morning when engine is cold the run gives few jerks and and than it becomes normal , car is carby cultus , i would appreciate if u guys would give me some verdict , air filter is reasonably new , plugs are in good state and all the things are intact , i might reconsider the mechanic opinion that gas is not enough open so it felt like gas is finishing or car struggles to get cng when i feel those jerks .

remedy - do not convert to CNG when cold - as your engine is not designed for CNG use it will falter at low revs in cold.

It is also caused by the choke plate blocking flow of gas from the venturi - the choke releases once warmed up, To remedy this Ive seen CNG places actually saw (cut) off the choke plate in the carburettor
