Lead in fuel

Lead in fuel

Today i opened the fuel filter in car , blowed air through it,, found lead particles coming out, then opened fuel pump. and lead particles sticking on the cylinder wall of pump.

i will change these parts and how should one deal with lead in petrol?

i thought leaded fuel is finished as it is hazardous for the environment. u sure the lead is from the fuel?
