Leaking CNG

Hello Brothers
i went to mecahnic whether the cng is leaking or not he told me that at night close the cng valve(with cylinder) and check the pressurNow check again the pressure at morning if the pressure has dropped the cng is leaking.
Now the problem is it the right way to check leak or not there is some other way.Because my pressure had dropped when i checked in the morning from 2000psi to 1600psi when i open the valve of cng it again goes to 2000psi

hello!
maybe he knows what happen if he does light ups.......as CNG is lighter tha air so it easily went up so less chances...but its bit risky...anywayz...
sir soap method is the best......get some bubbly water and with the help of cloth...put it on every piping and specially joints....bubbles popping with let you find the leakage.....open the back valve.....closing valve and still leaking means problem lies somewhere b/w piping coming from cyl.....it its opens and then loses pressure this means that it leaking from somwhere in the mid or near regulator....open the valve and check it with bubbly water...it will be cleared.....get it checked by him...if there is a leakup..its a pressurised gas...it leaks out quickly and pressure reduced at same time..no need to wait the whole night...
Thanxxx
