Loss of Power Steering While Driving

I was driving my 2002 Prius on the highway when a red warning light appeared, and I suddenly lost power steering. However, after restarting the car, the power steering function returned. There are no engine codes so far, but Ive noticed slight vibrations and squeaky noises while steering lately.

Does anyone know what could be causing this issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
