Max Torque with CNG

Max Torque with CNG

All engines carry a specification for Max. Torque @ RPM. i.e. the max. torque is available at a certain RPM. In addition, the manufacturers also provide graphs relating torque with RPM. As a matter of fact, all these figures are valid when petrol is being used as fuel for a petrol engine.

We know that when CNG is being used, the values for Max. Torque and max. hp get reduced as compared to petrol. My question is what affect does CNG have on torque/RPM graph in general. i.e. when using CNG, do we still get the max torque (whatever the value with CNG is) at the same RPM as for petrol?

Same question for max. hp.

I will appreciate if those who reply also give a reason or reference to support their replies.

Thanks.

Offcourse.
coz power produced by combustion will definately reduce with change in fuel type to natural gas & can be increased too if some additives are added with regular feul.
