Mazda with 13B engine .... wont crank up

tonight my mechanic came over asking help for mazda wont start, he was wondering if anyone can help locate the fault. he said he sees the ignition spark but car wont start.

it has following specs.
computer: n3h3 18 881G
engine: 13B
model: la-se3p-10
vechicle se3p 10 4356

so how to trouble shoot this electrical problem?

Thats the 5Spd JDM RX8.
A bit more history as to how it happened and the symptoms in a bit more detail and i'd be able to help you out! It could be just plain flooded. The rotor is notorious for that.
