Mercedes C200 Worth Buying in 2023

My dad really wants a Mercedes W204, but were on a tight budget and dont want it to be more expensive than a Toyota Corolla Grande. Worried about maintenance costs and finding good mechanics for German cars in Pakistan.

What should we check when buying, and what potential mechanical/electrical issues might come up? Planning to make it reliable with new tires, brakes, and radiator before using it daily—any idea about the costs?

Also, how does the maintenance cost compare to a Toyota Corolla Grande, including oil/filters and other upkeep expenses?
