well i have usually heard ppl syaing that merter is reverse aur yeh gari back metre hai ya is ka metre tempered hai.


Q1: wht is the use of reversing the metre as ppl get to know abt the car by its condition i mean tyres and wear and tear.


Q2: what is the effect of reversing the metre on engine, ECU and electronics or car?


someone will like to share their experience.


let me share my experience.


i bought a vitz 2006 model. it was only ddriven 7200 km when i bought the car. car was in good shape. i mean interior and exterior. just like the ca has been driven 7500 km.


after a month of driving the car i sold it because i wanted to buy a civic. then it has 8400 on ODO. the personwho bought the car took it to toyota company. after inspection toyota guys said thatits gear box needs to be changed as it has some problem with the stainer oil assembly. and the car is not driven 8400km it is driven much much more.


anyone will like to share their experience???

low mileage car have higher resale. They can put new tires/seats etc. to hide the true mileage.






Q2: what is the effect of reversing the metre on engine, ECU and electronics or car?


no effect but does effects the pocket of a new owner:p
