Mileage of bigger tires

Mileage of bigger tires

Suppose we had a tire in different sizes (height), all made of the exact same material. Lets say they are all put through a test run of 10,000 kms and then checked for wear.

This is done in ideal and exactly same conditions for each tyre.

Which tyre will show least amount of wear. Larger size or smaller one?

Bigger tyres will wear less

Reason: over the distance of 10,000 kms, bigger tyres wud have done less rotations due to their large circumfrence, thereby having less time of contact with the road
