Missing on petrol

Missing on petrol

hi..
my car is missing on petrol and on cng it is fine..and sometimes on petrol it stops missing..can anyone tell me what could be the problem..
the car is civic 98 auto..

dirty injectors most likely.get them cleaned and pour a can ov fuel tonic once u get ur tank half filled
problem can be ov pump also

I agree with Autos, the problem is quite probably with the injectors but as the car is missing on petrol it is not suggestible to run it for long on petrol. The jerky driving would cause wear to the engine. fuel additives are helpful as long as the car is running decently on petrol. It is preventive measure for injectors from getting clogged. The injector manufacturers claim that the fuel injectors are fairly sturdy mechanisms and don't fail very easily. They only get dirty after some time. 8% to 10% clogging can cause injector to lean or misfire. Proper cleaning can restore their like-new performance. There is no need to replace fuel injectors unless they are actually gone bad. Injectors are designed in such a way that they are not very convenient to clean. They are sealed units and cannot be opened for cleaning. Ultrasonic cleaning is internationally accepted MOST effective process for cleaning fuel injectors. It is cheap and comprehensive solution for the problem.
