My Car RPM Fluctuates When AC is ON! Suzuki Cultus

Lately, Ive been experiencing an issue with my car. Whenever I press the brakes with the AC on, I notice that the car starts shaking. Additionally, I observed that the RPM suddenly s below 1 and then quickly goes back up. Sometimes, when the car is in idle and I turn on the AC, the RPM begins to fluctuate as well.

I took my car to a mechanic, and he informed me that this problem is common in Suzuki Cultus models, where the engine struggles to handle the load of the AC. He suggested replacing the compressor with a new one. However, I havent encountered this issue before, and Im unsure if the solution is accurate.

Id appreciate your guidance on what steps I should take to address this problem. Someone recommended getting the car tuned and checked with a computer. Thank you in advance for your help.

Before anything else, ensure that your car undergoes a thorough tune-up, focusing on the idle air control valve, spark plugs, and other relevant components. A well-maintained idle system is crucial. When you turn on the AC, the idle RPM should slightly increase, which is a sign of proper functioning.
