NA tuning 4 High Performance!?
man someone told me that to get more performance from a Carby engine, we can put in bigger jets and retune the valve timings and Ignition.
BTW, I have 4point plugs with hotwires installed. If I get bigger jets installed, Valve timings ka kya karoo and Ignition advance karayo ya retard.
Plz lemme know this and the gain it would give! thanx!

Actually there's lots you can do to NAs if you're so inclined, that in itself makes them their own victims. Engines are all about flow, a glorified air pump if you will. Thats exactly what turbos do, help the engine breathe better.
For NAs to produce mopre power, you have to make the existing design more efficent. Porting polishing, induction, light internals, pulse tuning your exhaust, an uprated ignition to keep pace with all that and more. Then you have aftermarket camshafts with high or short duration(referring to valve lift). Pullys, uprated fuel managment. Then there's design considerations, most engines are not free revving designs hence getting too enthusiastic with them produces unfavorable results. There's NA applications by JUN, a B16 uprated to produce 245hp in NA trim, 1ZZ-GEs producing 190Hp.
The reason its not all that popular although there's a particular demograph out there that'd have my **** for saying this is because its too much for too less. The amount of moo-lah you invest in making an NA application go ZOOM, can be well spent otherwise yieliding better results hence everyone's love for sbail power.
