Need Help with Car Registration Issues in Chitral

I bought a 1988 Land Rover Defender from Sardar Brothers in Islamabad, and it was originally registered in Chitral. I’m trying to register it in my name, but its been 8 months with no progress. I have the green book copies and the e-stamp from the original owner agreeing to the transfer, but Im being told the paperwork is stuck in Chitral. Does anyone have contacts at the Chitral car taxation office o r know how I can get this sorted? Thanks!

Sounds frustrating! You might want to try reaching out to local contacts in Chitral directly o r visit the office if possible. Sometimes local agents o r middlemen can help expedite the process. Good luck!
